buckets and bottles

My life has been very hectic lately between work, writing, and baby! Rowan is amazing! He is now five months old and over fifteen pounds!
He is so adorable making funny faces and sounds. After he goes to bed it is bottlewashing time! (I breastfeed but fill bottles for daycare). When I’m done preparing bottles for the next day, I try to get some writing done then get to bed by 11. Up at 530, pump, nurse Rowan, get him to daycare by 730 and go to work with the dolphins. Scrubbing fish buckets, doing dolphin interactions for 9 hours, then finally home to Rowan.
Between buckets and bottles, I feel that I am always at the sink.
Mommyhood is the best thing I have ever done in my life! But I’m tired

Rowan William and Summer Plans

Rowan William Pyne was born on April 23rd! 6 pounds and 15 ounces! Now at 6 weeks old he is nearly ten pounds! He is so much fun! He already is training to be a Quidditch seeker!

This Summer I will be returning to work as a dolphin trainer and I have several concerts and book signings planned. The big event of the Summer is LEAKY CON! The largest Harry Potter convention ever! I will be performing in the main stage wizard rock show, the HP musical The Final Battle, and hosting a few panels! I hope to see you there!

Baby, books, and boredom

Life Update! March 23rd, 2011.

So! I am nine months preganant! The baby’s name is Rowan William Pyne. The Orlando Harry Potter Club gave me the most amazing baby shower in the world and it is clear that this little wizard is being born in to a very loving Potter family!

I am on Doctor ordered rest because I have been having pre-term contractions. So no more work for me and I find that any physical or even slightly stressful activity causes the contractions, meaning I am on the couch with my computer and my Netflix for company most of the day. I try to write but my ability to concentrate has seriously decreased with pregnancy! I’ve been watching Bones and Merlin and old (bad)films

The House of Black is on hiatus until LeakyCon Orlando in July where I will be performing and doing book signings! Let’s see how fast I can shed the baby weight to fit into my corset! Rowan will meet everyone at Leaky Con in some of his best wizarding onsies including ones that say- ‘He Who Must Be Changed’ and ‘Born a Gryffindor!’ He might even make his performance debut in The Final Battle HP musical! (Depends on his mood.)

Baby and book news!

So much has been going on in my life it is hard to narrow it all down in a small post. But here goes…

First, I am having a baby boy! I am due in April and my husband and I are currently trying to pick a name If you are coming to MegaCon you’ll get to see me at the What the Flux Comics booth eight months pregant! Or you can meet the baby wizard at Leaky Con in July (the big Potter convention).

Next I have published The Ultimate Guide to the Harry Potter fandom and Curiouser and Curiouser: Pool of Tears available in paper back or eBook through Kindle and Nook books- Order from the What the Flux Comics webstore!http://whatthefluxcomics.com/?page_id=6 

Next year in March I will have two new books coming out! Curiouser and Curiouser: Eat Me Drink Me and the Red Angel  comic series, a steampunk/alternate history comic.
